Isn’t it great when your favorite Ultraportable laptop, the ThinkPad X61 is
voted the best of the best ?
PC World Contributing Editor James Martin says Lenovo’s ThinkPad X61 earned the overall best PCW rating (84) of any Lenovo or Apple laptop currently on any PC World Top 10 laptop chart.
Considering that Lenovo and Apple are currently ranked as the best manufacturers in terms of reliability, the best service and support, that is some accolade. Read more

IBM had an illustrious history of producing small form factor, light weight laptops with the ThinkPad 220 and 230 Sub-notebooks which were produced for the Asia Pacific market in 1993/94, through the innovative ‘Butterfly’ 701 to the stunning 560/570 all the way back in May ’96.
The real breakthrough in a long and illustrious line of Ultraportable came in September 2000 when IBM introduced the ThinkPad X Series. Read more
