Martinho Tamele:

There are 3 types of Thinkpads you can buy:
1 - Retail, as is model... you can't really ADD functions to these.
2 - Online - pre-built - No options, a tad cheaper but ready to ship.
3 - Online - custom order.

Yes, there is a GPS option for the SL and other ThinkPads (not EDGE)... but this is when you order a custom model ThinkPad.

The mobile broadband, if compatible in your area - requires a SIM. You can download the manual and service manual from lenovo. Anyway - the SIM card is either in a compartment under the notebook or under the palm-rests of the computer... on some models, its in the battery compartment (best). But on the SL - if you look on the bottom - there are 3 small panels - it should be in any of those.

===================
Remember folks... always check here for the eCoupons. I was about to finish my order for a T410 a few days ago, and got $100 off.

Here is the Link to the Maintainance Manual Martinho, you'll find what you need here! Do do a search in the PDf for 'sim card' and it will take you to the correct page. Cheers Ian

am interested in the thinkpad sl510, and reside in canada. are there any good discount coupons for this? i need 4gb ram, and 320 hard drive. i'm not sure if i can configure that in canada; seems they are already configured. if so, are there any coupons for the u.s.? i could have it sent up here, then.
thanks,
p. normand

If you wish KASAIJA, you will have to pay shipping to your Uncle and then from him to you, and of course Duty into Uganda, and you will have to be aware of warranty issues
