Yes, it may be aimed at Enterprise customers but the umph that it provides above mainstream netbooks and the quality makes it a top choice for those wanting a little more than a netbook. Besides, today most connections to screens for presentations are via HDMI and if one wants to provide more than just a quiet presentation, things can be challenging. For the regular crowd, being able to play HD content on this machine is basic and HDMI can enable that. A simple search on the web shows that all x100e reviews state (besides poor battery performance) that this machine would be complete with an HDMi port. I just ordered mine today based on your input above but I would not hesitate to buy another once they enable it with an HDMI port and prolonge the battery life.
