The recently released Lenovo L215p Monitor is the latest in a long line of HD monitors offered by Lenovo and sets a new precedent in the ratio of quality to price.
No matter how big our notebook screen, we all either need or crave extra screen real estate at some time or another and the 215p High Definition screen is the perfect solution.
For as little as $199, the Lenovo L215p offers a 21.5-inch high-definition display and has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, which provides users with much more visual real estate when compared to larger, non-HD monitors from Gateway and Dell.
The Lenovo L215p offers crisp and clean high-definition viewing, whether it’s static or video. In fact, a recent test by PC World showed that the Lenovo L215p showed not only crisp text and spot-on color display, but also ably managed motion tests conducted with high-definition video, showing no signs of screen jitter. There is even a full display backlight for crisp viewing in any environment.
With a built-in webcam, the Lenovo L215p provides accessory-free networking with friends and colleagues all across the globe. The two mega-pixel camera is compatible with all of the major messaging services – Skype, Windows Messaging, etc. – and offers brilliant resolution in any lighting conditions and features auto-correcting tools for low-light situations.
The Lenovo L215p comes with both VGA and HDMI inputs and it comes with both cables included in the box. However, there is no DVI connection. Not to worry, though, Lenovo offers a number of converters if you would like to opt for a DVI connection.
There are also 3 built-in USB ports, a built-in speaker bar, and headphone and microphone jacks, making the Lenovo L215p the perfect monitor for notebook users in search of a capable, large high-definition display for the home base.
Pleasing to the eye, the Lenovo L215p is well designed, with a solid metal-colored base and a sleek black frame. The base has tilt and swivel hinges to provide the perfect configuration for any desk or work area. Our advice? if your looking for a great HD Monitor, buy one now!

I know it may sould odd for most notebook users, but coming from desktop user at both work and home, I still find my T500 screen (WSXGA+) a bit too small. What 17′ or 19′ inch monitor with height adjustabke feature would you recommend the best?
Been there myself Robin! I have now been using a notebook exclusively for just over 3 years but it did take a little getting used to at first. With out hesitation we would recommend the L215p HD Screen, it is superb and makes working with spreadsheets and graphics a delight. Also great for gaming. Makes Warcraft look superb!
